Submission Guidelines 

For Nonfiction, preference is given to authors who have a full book proposal completed and/or a full manuscript. For Fiction, preference will be given to authors who have a completed, edited full manuscript. Debut and previously published writers may submit. Prior to submitting, please review Agent Bios for specific information about genres, tropes, word count. Please include the Agent’s first name in the query letter. Submit only to one Agent.

 

Fiction

Genres of Interest:

Historical, Multi-Cultural, Cozy Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Speculative, Suspense/Thriller, Upmarket Women’s Fiction, Fantasy, Action/Adventure, Literary Fiction, Fantasy (High/Low/Epic/Grimdark/Noblebright, et al.), Action/Adventure, Military.

Please send us the following (PDF Documents Only):

  • Your best elevator pitch in a query letter including title, genre, and word count of your manuscript

  • Synopsis of the work, preferably no more than two pages long

  • First three chapters of your manuscript or 50 pages.

  • Detailed author bio including a list of publications to date and sales history of previous titles

  • Detailed marketing plan including social media accounts, link to your website, and all professional and personal organizations

  • All documents must be double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font size in PDF.

 

Non-Fiction

Genres of Interest:

Advice/Relationship, Biography, Business/Economics, Leadership, Diet, Health/Medical, History/Politics/Current Affairs, How-to, Humor, Lifestyle, Memoir, Narrative Non-Fiction, Parenting, Religion/Spirituality, Self-Help, and True Crime.

  • Your best elevator pitch in a query letter. Be sure to include title, genre, and word count of your manuscript.

  • A polished and detailed book proposal which should include: 

    • Book overview

    • Target audience statement

    • Marketing plan including social media accounts, link to your website, and all professional and personal organizations

    • Competitive analysis

    • Author bio including a list of publications to date and sales history of previous titles

    • Chapter outline

    • Chapter descriptions

    • Three sample chapters (minimum, but you can submit more).

  • All documents must be double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font size in PDF.
